Between work, kids, outings with friends, new loves, dates, school and other responsibilities many of us list cooking as a last priority.
Luckily, here and there and every now and then there are healthy options to eat out and better yet to pick up something quick!
Taylor Gourmet has a few locations sprinkled throughout the city (Washington, DC). They have salads, sandwiches and the most amazing chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies. However, my healthy addiction is their Franklin Square salad with no parmesan cheese and the addition of grilled chicken, tomatoes and Portobello mushrooms. The Franklin Square comes with walnuts, argula, juicy bacon bits and white pasta like bits. The salad is loaded with protein and fiber, plus the spices and all the bits are sure to satisfy the pickiest eaters. And with all the flavor, you can skip the dressing!
